The course is for a period of two years. The trainee is expected to stay throughout the two years, as it is a full residential programme. Upon completion of the training the boys will be awarded a certificate from Montfort Youth Centre as well as the Malaysian Skill Certificate (SKM) which is recognized by Department of Skills Development, Ministry Human Resource Malaysia (Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran, Kementerian Sumber Manusia).
