MYC’S 18TH OPEN HOUSE CHARITY CARNIVAL
On the 6th of October, 2024, after 4 years, MYC hosted a successful Open House Charity Carnival, showcasing the power of community and collective effort. Despite the rain, the overwhelming support from the crowd was heartwarming.
After months of preparation and dedication, the event began with an opening ceremony and a variety of engaging booths offering games, food, and crafts. Live performances by local artists highlighted the rich cultural diversity and unity within our community.
Interactive games and activities kept attendees buzzing with excitement, while the food court tantalized taste buds with a rich array of dishes crafted by our dedicated volunteers. The raffle draw was a spectacle in itself, with elated winners taking home fantastic prizes like TVs, a fridge, and a washing machine. The climax of the day was when a Montfort boy clinched the grand prize—a shiny new motorbike—drawing cheers and applause from the crowd.
The carnival’s success, measured by both funds raised and the smiles on attendees’ faces, strengthened our community bonds. We extend our gratitude to all who contributed, making a lasting impact on our mission.
Thank you for being a part of this memorable day. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of the youth we serve.
