The construction of the most awaited Phase 1 buildings has started. The buildings consist of a multi-purpose auditorium, with management offices on the ground floor, 4 auditoriums for badminton courts, storage rooms, stages, and dining venues. There are classrooms and activity rooms in the building, as well as a student affairs office, including offices, prefect’s offices, meeting rooms, infirmary, counselling rooms, etc. Expansion to include facilities for the disabled.
The expansion represents a new era of excellence as it finally happened after nearly a decade of negotiating and planning. The new expansion will enable MYC to accommodate more young people, provide more new courses, and will also expand the general maintenance and information technology departments. Construction of Phase 1 buildings are expected to be completed by the end of 2021.
