This NOSS outlines Competency Unit (CU) in the Office Management working environment as required by the industry and has been developed and documented following extensive collaboration across key Malaysian organizations. To meet the requirements of this industry, it is imperative that the CU outlined follow a high standard as well as maintenance of consistency throughout the assessment process. This can only be done by stipulating a precise framework in which the assessment of CU must be conducted.

CERTIFICATION
Students who pass all competencies will be awarded the Montfort Youth Centre and Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 2 certificates recognized by Malaysian Department of Skills Development and Ministry of Human Resources.

1ST SEMESTER EXAMINATIONS 2024

Both the 1st year and 2nd year MMD students sat for their first semester exams from May 6 – 9, 2024, where they had both theoretical and practical exams to complete.

SKM EXAMINATION BATCH 22

The boys in Batch 22 sat for their SKM finals as early as in November 27 and 28, 2023, as they had finished their SKM modules and were heading to their internship program. The boys’ instructors trained them extensively in theory and practical learnings.

WORKSHOP SKILL COMPETITION

The boys participated in car lighting wiring and timing belt installation for Motor Mechanics Department students. The winner was determined by executing the tasks in the shortest amount of time with the greatest precision. Congratulations to all of the winners!

SKM EXAMINATION 2023

The final SKM motor mechanics examinations for all the boys were held on May 22 and 23, 2023. To get them ready for this final exam, the instructors had been “drilling” the students in their theoretical and practical learning.

2ND SEMESTER EXAMINATIONS 2023

First-year MMD students sat for their second semester exams from May 15–18, 2023, where they had both theoretical and practical exams to complete.

MMD SEMESTER EXAM

Both their theoretical and practical knowledge were evaluated for all students who took the first semester and third semester exams. Further, the students underwent an oral examination in which questions regarding their understanding of motor mechanics were posed. Even if some of the students were tense, they did incredibly well on their theory and practical tests..

SKM EXAMINATION 2022

The MMD boys had their Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 2 final exam on the 26th and 27th May 2022. All the boys gave their all and aced the examination thanks to their diligence and the instructors’ commitment..

MMD WORKSHOP AND SKILLS COMPETITION

Each department had their skills competition for students in their respective workshops. Motor Mechanics Department students on the other hand, competed in engine top overhaul. Student with the fastest time and highest definiteness was announced as the winner.

MMD SEMESTER EXAM

Both the 1^st year and 2^nd year Motor Mechanic students sat for the 2^nd semester and 4^th semester final exams respectively from 7^th to 11 March 2022. The students aced their theory and practical exams even though some of them they were nervous.

SKM EXAMINATION 2020

On the 27th to 29th July 2020, the MMD boys had their Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 2 final exam. Although they were nervous, they gave their best and passed both theory and practical exams with flying colors.

WORKSHOP SKILL COMPETITION

For Motor Mechanics Department students, they competed with each other in manual and automatic gearbox overhauling competition. The winner was chosen based on the fastest time recorded with the highest precision in completing the overhaul. Congratulation to the winners!

SEMESTER EXAMINATION

After months of preparation and drilling by the instructors, the students finally sat for their semester examination. They have to pass both theory and practical examination to fully pass their semester examination.

TRAINING BY BOSCH MALAYSIA

Key personnel from Bosch Malaysia gave a hands-on training using an air-condition machine. ACS 650 which functions as automatic recharge, recovery leak check, oil charge and automatic vacuuming machine. The equipment was donated by Bosch Malaysia for training purposes of the Motor Mechanics Department. With the machine, students will learn how to dismantle and service the air-condition of vehicles. We thank Bosch Malaysia for their kindness.

SEMESTER EXAMINATION

Both Year 1 and Year 2 students of Motor Mechanics Department took the semester examination. The instructors had been drilling the students, so to speak, in their theory and practical lessons to prepare them for this semester examination. Students of MMD are blessed with used cars donated for their learning. We wish them all the best in taking both the theory and practical examinations.

LUBRICANT AND ENGINE OIL TRAINING 2017 FOR MECHANIC STUDENTS

BP Castrol Lubricants (Malaysia), through their CSR programme, gave a 1-day talk on Lubricant and Engine Oil to 2nd. Year students from the Motor Mechanics course. The students learned the correct specification of lubricant for different types of vehicles during car-maintenance. We thank them for sharing their love and knowledge with our students.
