OUR FOUNDER

St. Louis Marie de Montfort

St. Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort was born on 31^st January 1673 in a small town called Monfort in France
and died at an early age of 43, on 28^th April 1716.
He founded three religious congregations of which the Brothers of Saint Gabriel is one of them.

His love for the poor moved him to inscribe:
“THOSE WHOM THE WORLD REJECTS MUST MOVE YOU THE MOST!”

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

Montfort Youth Centre is a fully residential institution, caters for youths from 16 to 19 years old. It offers a 2-year programme for youths where they are given the opportunity to be trained in vocational skills and character formation to become better contributing citizens for the nation and to maximize their potential. Montfort Youth Centre Melaka provides: –

Residential Care to Orphans and Youths from Poor and Underprivileged Families,
Social Work & Counselling Service to Youths Under the Organisation’s Care,
General Education and Training in Industrial Skills to Youths and Prepare Them for Gainful Employment.
